Interview with Cami, Tombstone and Strawberry
JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Cami: Yes, we had regular access.
Tombstone: yes,there are 2 pay-phones in each pod,you have to
make collect calls,to your ppl who will accept them.
Strawberry: Yes we did
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people?
Cami: Collect call charges for outgoing calls.
Tombstone: Very high,local calls were a dollar a minute,& you
couldn't stay on them for longer than 20 minutes
Strawberry: CRAZY...i mean it was outrageous
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Cami: Nope, it was all collect.
Tombstone: No phone cards were allowed
Strawberry: NO they wont letcha have callin cards cause i am
sure they make a nice profit on our phone calls
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Cami: Yes, if they wanted to they could.
Tombstone: Yes, you were warned that they would
Strawberry: They did say they could if they wanted or needed
to...but i dont know if they ever did for
me...they may have...hell i wouldnt put it past
